WARRIORS in the Community in partnership with ALPHA FEMALE LEAGUE INC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on building up youths and young adults since 2015 and now expanding with adding sports programs in the community to level the “playing field” in low-income & income restricted communities and removing some of the financial barriers that often prevent children from participation. WARRIORS in the community is active in communities across the Lone Star state and will be recruiting other sports organizations like ours to join us Play for the Cause Campaign, in addition to Champions Beyond Sports Initiative that focuses on athletes’ inequalities on and off the court. Fifty cents of every dollar donated, and half of all participation fees are put back into WRRIOR in the Community to help pay for those who want to join us.
